Alert on domestic violence in Bahrain

MANAMA, January 10, 2016

Seventy-one per cent of women subjected to domestic violence in Bahrain were abused by their husbands, a report said.

Of the rest, 9 per cent were abused by their fathers, 9 per cent by a brother, 6 per cent by uncles and the remaining by mother, other family members and ex-husbands, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
