McDonald’s expands new concept to more UAE locations

DUBAI, December 10, 2015

McDonald's UAE has continued to expand its new CYT 'Create Your Taste' concept, offering guests table service and a wide range of customised gourmet burgers to three more branches in the UAE.

It follows the successful launch of the new platform at McDonald’s store in Al Ghurair Centre- Dubai last October, said a statement.

The new custom-burger platform allows all customers to customise their order via large touchscreen kiosk, allowing them to pick the toppings, buns, and sauces they prefer on their burgers.

Once the order is ready, guests can enjoy their individual burgers served at their table.

McDonald’s restaurants at City Center Me’aisem, Spinney’s Al Karama and Jebel Ali Gardens (Enoc Gas Station) will now give customers the option of using the large touchscreen self-ordering kiosk to build custom burgers as part of the 'Create Your Taste' programme that will expand to even more branches next year.

The customers are also able to try new signature burgers - The Classic, Grilled Thriller and Hot All Over.

Rafic Fakih, managing director and partner at McDonald’s UAE, said: "We are excited to announce the expansion of CYT 'Create Your Taste' platform after the positive feedback we received from customers at McDonald’s Al Ghurair restaurant.

"In the upcoming months and next year, customers in other areas throughout the UAE will also be able to build their own customised burgers from CYT 'Create Your Taste' platform."

More than 22 per cent of in-store customers across the four stores have been using the self-ordering kiosk, said the statement.

Due to the high demand to appeal the individual taste of guests who increasingly seek to customise their quick service restaurant experience, McDonald's UAE will continue rolling out CYT 'Create Your Taste' to more locations in the emirates, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
