World Health Organisation statistics indicate that one in
three women around the globe faces abuse or violence in
their life

70 women train in crisis response in Bahrain

MANAMA, November 18, 2015

Seventy women are being trained as crisis advocates to help victims of domestic and sexual abuse in Bahrain. They will receive their certification this weekend from Women Crisis Care International (WCCI) after completing 40 hours of intensive training in trauma, therapy techniques and providing emotional and logistical support to victims, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
