Abu Dhabi to showcase smart, e-govt services at Gitex

ABU DHABI, October 14, 2015

Abu Dhabi's Department of Finance (DoF) is set to showcase its range of e-services it launched to develop the emirate's financial and customs systems, at the Gitex Technology Week 2015.
 
The event will run from October 18 to 22 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
 
During its participation at Gitex, DoF will reveal its new electronic customs clearance system for the first time, and showcase the latest developments of its smart phone and tablets app, ‘AD DOF’. 
 
The app will offer a wide range of features including supplier services and the ’Dhabi Mobile Inspection Service’ for employees of the General Administration of Customs- Abu Dhabi.
 
The visitors to DoF’s stand will also be introduced to the latest services and developments of the Abu Dhabi Shared Enterprise Resource Planning (ADERP) system, DoF’s smart phone app for military retirement services, ‘AD Pension’, and the Customs Operating (Dhabi) systems.
 
Hamad Al Hurr Al Suwaidi, chairman of DoF - Abu Dhabi, said: “DoF is committed to continuously developing and expanding its IT infrastructure, to provide leading services and maintain the high quality of Abu Dhabi’s financial and customs work.
