HFZA highlights its facilities at World Food Istanbul

Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) delegation highlighted its facilities at the recently held World Food Istanbul.
The 23rd international food products and technologies exhibition attracted more than 500 companies from 119 countries, said a statement.
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, director of HFZA and Sharjah Airport Free Zone (SAIF Zone), said: "Turkey is a market that has a lot of potential. There are 50 Turkish companies in HFZA and we want to boost the Turkish presence in our free zone.
"Furthermore, we have recently opened our Food & Packaging zone and we showcased this facility to the investors and companies that attended the event."
“With a turnover close to US$ 102 billion and more than 410,000 employees employed in the field, the Turkish food sector has become significant globally particularly in the Middle East,” he said.
"Stretching across 380,000 square meters, HFZA food and packaging zone facility targets the various needs of the fast moving consumer goods industry (FMCG) such as food processing, cold storage, plastic products, plastic raw materials and packaging”, Al Mazrouei elaborated.
The vast investment options available at HFZA in various domains, including industrial, commercial and services, serve as a growth catalyst for SMEs and multinational firms looking to expand its operations and emerging entrepreneurs with big dreams, said the statement.
HFZA offers world-class infrastructure, innovative services and facilities such as total ownership of businesses, repatriation of capital and profits, application of one-stop-shop concept for quick issuance of licenses and a viable visa solution for business owners and their employees, it said.
The free zone’s strategic location connects it to three seaports: Hamriyah Port, Khalid Port and Khorfakkan Port, all well connected by an extensive road network throughout the UAE and GCC, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
