Glee launches more international flavours at BoxPark
DUBAI, June 22, 2015
Glee Hospitality Solutions, a renowned name in the hospitality business, has launched a Chinese, a Japanese and a gourmet waffle restaurant at BoxPark, a lifestyle destination in Dubai, UAE.
Launched by the Meeras Development group, this retail concept based on similar models in cities like London, Paris and New York has generated a lot of buzz, said a statement.
In a short span of time not only has it changed the look of Al Wasl Street but has also become the No 1 destination for shoppers and lovers of International cuisines, it said.
Kuai serves authentic Chinese cuisine with dishes that hit the spot with connoisseurs. Mikado Cafe, a Japanese bakery that serves delicious breads and pastries, which are no less than works of art in their own right, said the statement.
The intriguingly-named No 3 opening later in the summer, on the other hand brings Gourmet Waffles to sate the taste buds of those who want nothing but the best when it comes to waffles.
Abdul Kader Saadi, managing director, Glee is the man behind these stunning concept restaurants. Not only did he conceptualise these restaurants but it was his idea to make the glamorous retail outlet in the heart of Jumeirah their home.
“The idea was to develop new yet popular authentic concepts from different parts of the world to BoxPark, which is a reflection of International fashion, cultures and cuisines. This one street offers a warm and inviting experience for people from remote corners of the globe,” he said.
“Thus it was the ideal choice for the restaurants and the authentic cultural experience we want to share through food. They were exciting but challenging projects to work on and I’m glad to see that we have managed to keep up with the benchmark we have set for ourselves in terms of quality and service,” he added. - TradeArabia News Service
