UAE’s ministry announces Ramadan timings

ABU DHABI, June 16, 2015

UAE’s Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Interior said the working hours for its nationwide departments are to be divided into two separate shifts during Ramadan.

The working hours have been changed to nine am to two pm and two pm to six pm from the regular ship of nine am to six pm in order to ensure the timely delivery of customer transactions, and to avoid work pressures and an overcrowding of customers, said the statement.

The amended working hours during Ramadan come as a response to the directives of the higher leadership to enhance the levels of customer service, and to reinforce the overall concepts of quality, it said.

This move additionally embodies the strategy of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector as they endeavour to provide quality services to the public and to alleviate the burden for customers, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
