DUBAI, March 26, 2015
The Dubai Economic Council is set to showcase key achievements in the field of innovation and interactive initiatives as part of its vision as a strategic partner of the Dubai government’s decision-making process at a exhibition next week.
The third Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition, under the theme ‘Local Government and Global Achievements, will run from March 30 to April 1, which will coincide with the UAE Ministry of Economy’s Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2015.
Hani Al Hamli, DEC secretary-general, noted that the council's involvement in the exhibition is linked to its strategy of supporting positive enablers of economic policies, and hailed it as an important event not only to showcase achievements, but also to exchange experiences and learn from other success stories.
“We expect strong participation in this year’s edition. Based on the experience of the participating government departments in previous editions, we are confident the show will climb new heights of success, because of the many dramatic developments in types of services provided to the community, especially after the launch of series of innovation-driven initiatives by Government of Dubai aimed at transforming Dubai into a smart city in every sense.”
The DEC pavilion will feature a number of digital panels using the latest technology solutions, a reflection of DEC’s keenness to implement government initiatives particularly ‘Smart government’ and transform Dubai into a ‘Smart City’.
The panels will showcase achievements of DEC, such as the issuing of global reports, books and papers on important research and analysis of the economy of Dubai and the UAE, in addition to visual materials celebrating achievements and featuring interviews with some DEC officials.
The stand will also contain various modern modes of social networking. It will also feature documents and images of projects and partnerships between DEC with local and global decision-making bodies as well as images of association with global studies centres, and international companies. - TradeArabia News Service
