French Restaurant Paul to open at Pearl-Qatar
DOHA, February 21, 2015
Paul, a leading French restaurant and bakery, is set to open a new branch at The Pearl-Qatar by September as per the agreement signed between United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of the project and Azadea, one of the major retail trade groups in the Middle East and North Africa representing Paul in the region.
The targeted opening is meant to cater to a large base of customers including residents and visitors, while adding value to the varied retail and food and beverages (F&B) mix currently operating on the Island.
Paul offers exquisite French breads and pastries, tempting cakes and desserts as well as savoury meals such as salads, sandwiches or light main courses. In addition, a special breakfast menu allows for the perfect start to the day with fine croissants and egg dishes, said a senior official.
The new branch at The Pearl-Qatar benefits from enchanting interiors featuring a rustic-chic ambience typical of the authentic French brand, where country life meets the chic Parisian tea room, a perfect blend to enjoy Paul's unique French lifestyle, remarked Christian Salloum, the regional F&B operations manager at Azadea.
"We are delighted to open a new branch at The Pearl-Qatar as part of the expansion plans of our brand in Doha into new geographical areas," he noted.
"In this regard, The Pearl represents a viable and promising location being one of the most prominent investment projects in the country and housing Doha’s fastest growing community. Here we look forward to unleashing our gastronomic talents and expect to build a community of customer advocates," he added.
Welcoming the French restaurant, Mohamed Yoosaf, the general manager of Retail Leasing at The Pearl-Qatar, said: "Paul’s opening, as a popular and successful brand in Qatar and the region, demonstrates The Pearl’s commitment to attracting quality labels that appeal to the large public while benefiting from the Island’s waterfront feature, which takes the dining experience altogether to a whole new level."
“I am confident our residents and visitors will enjoy the convenience of having a PAUL branch in their neighborhood, with succulent food and desserts in mind: a true everyday indulgence,” he noted.-TradeArabia News Service
