El Eit ... upbeat on expansion.

Man’oushe Street plans regional expansion

DUBAI, February 8, 2015

Man’oushe Street, a popular Middle Eastern restaurant that serves traditional, home-styled street food, plans to open more branches across the region in 2015 complementing its eight outlets located in the UAE.

The move follows after the company implemented an expansion initiative marked by the signing of new master franchise agreements that has resulted in opening new outlets across different locations in the region, a statement said.

This year, the company expects to open more branches in key locations across the country. To date, Man’oushe Street branches are located in Dubai spots like Sheikh Zayed Road, Mizher, Al Barsha, DIP, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Jafza, Downtown Dubai and Tecom.

It will open four other branches in UAE, including two new outlets in Dubai, one in each of Al Ghurair and Jumeirah by the end of the second quarter (Q2) of the year, and two in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi in March and April respectively.

In addition, Man’oushe Street expects to open new outlets in Cairo, Egypt, Kuwait and Qatar by the first quarter of 2015.

In 2014, the company signed master franchise partnership agreements with leading restaurant management groups like Wadi Degla, Qatar United Business Development and Kuwait United Dynamics.

“The strong response that we have been receiving has given us the confidence to look towards opening more Man’oushe Street outlets this year. These new branches will demonstrate the company’s commitment towards expanding its presence across the region,” said Jihad El Eit, founder and CEO, Man’oushe Street.

“2014 was a landmark year for us as we have experienced a 70 per cent surge in sales growth as compared to the previous years. Also, our move to expand has resulted in the key signing of master franchise agreements that will see the opening of more branches across new markets.”

Man’oushe Street’s operations have been made stronger with the recent opening of its new Dh6 million ($1.63 million) HACCP certified Central Kitchen facilities located in DIP. The company has also revealed a new list of menu offerings, proving true to its commitment of providing its customers with authentic street food.

The company was recently included in the second edition of Caterer Middle East's Power List, which ranks the region’s most influential and successful food and beverage (F&B) players.

Recent industry reports have revealed that the UAE’s $8 billion consumer food service segment continues to grow at an annual Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12 per cent. – TradeArabia News Service
