Bahrain firms invited to attend Indian event

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has announced Bahraini companies have been invited to attend a key expo in India.
Companies in the information technology, telecom, tourism, media and entertainment, healthcare, logistics, professional services and education sectors have been invited to participate in the Global Exhibition on Services (GES) hosted by New Delhi from April 23 to 25 this year, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
Indian Ambassador Dr Mohan Kumar extended the invitation to BCCI chairman Khalid Almoayed during a visit to the chamber's headquarters in Sanabis.
"We welcome Bahraini companies to participate in GES, and utilise this invaluable opportunity to meet their counterparts in order to exchange knowledge and experiences and form business relations," Dr Kumar said.
"The trade volume between both countries amounted to BD560 million according to the Central Informatics Organisation, yet, we are eager to exploit more investment opportunities," Almoayed said. - TradeArabia News Service
