AXA Cooperative, one of the largest non-life international insurers in Saudi Arabia, has announced the launch of its online Travel Insurance solutions in the kingdom.

With the new ‘AXA Travel Smart insurance’ now available at just a click of a button, customers in Saudi Arabia can enjoy insurance cover against unforeseen medical emergencies, personal liabilities, personal accidents, trip cancellation fees and a host of other needs, for both individuals or family, a statement said.

The website now allows customers to plan holidays, arrange travel insurance and receive policy documentation.

AXA travel smart policies cover up to SR3.7 million ($986,482) emergency medical expenses including emergency dental care, medical transportation and repatriation. It also covers up to SR3.7 million ($986,482) for personal liability and also SR103,000 ($27,461) for personal accident, indemnities for loss, theft or damage to baggage or money, trip cancellation or curtailment, loss of passport, delayed departure and baggage delay with relevant terms and conditions, the statement said.

“The online travel insurance from AXA, which comes with a wide array of plans – be it ‘Travel Smart’ or ‘Travel Schengen’ – offers high value coverage at low premium to suit various customers’ needs. The insurance solutions come with 24-hour travel assistance; customers can get a quote in a matter of minutes”, the company said.
