JORDAN, September 2, 2014

‘Hellofood’, a leading food delivery marketplace, is expanding its services to hotels within the Middle East.

The expansion by hellofood into the hotel sector has been made possible through the support from a significant investor, iMENA, and the $60 million investment from a group of investors that was announced in August.

The food delivery marketplace now provides hotels that have yet to establish room service for their guests with an option to set up accounts with hellofood and provide the ease and convenience of ordering their customers’ favourite cuisine from all of the best restaurants. Hotels will provide a menu with the available selections for their guests and place their order using the account designated for the hotel.

Beschir Hussain, CEO of hellofood, Middle East, said: “This is a great opportunity for hotels and hotel guests alike. Through our application, we are able to assist hotels to improve their service by providing the guests with a variety of their favourite foods available from the city’s restaurants. So far, three hotels, two in Jordan and one in Lebanon, have joined the growing number of global establishments that are utilizing hellofood and will begin their services next week. This will no doubt have a positive impact on the satisfaction of their customers and their reviews will respectively reflect this.”

For those that are not staying in the designated hotels, orders can be placed through the app, or online. hellofood users choose from a variety of restaurants based upon their location, and pay upon delivery. The prices are equal to the cost of ordering directly from the restaurant, the company statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
