Kuwait-based The Commercial Real Estate Company (Al Tijaria) has announced the establishment of its fully-owned Bahrain subsidiary, Al Tijaria Real Estate Development Company.

The new company will be responsible for Al Tijaria's real estate arm in the management, development and maintenance of projects in Bahrain, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

In addition to buying and selling properties, Al Tijaria's scope of work will include managing and developing private properties like residential complexes, residential, investment, commercial and industrial land spaces.

The company's chairman and managing director Abdulfatah Marafie said the move was part of the company's strategy of diversifying its investments and expanding geographically. - TradeArabia News Service
