Just Falafel opens new outlet in Sydney

Dubai, July 20, 2014

UAE-based food chain Just Falafel has opened a new outlet in Sydney’s Central station, as part of its Australian expansion plans.

The new restaurant will offer a broad range of healthy, authentic street food to the 11 million commuters that pass through the station every year, said a statement.

It will also feature everyday facilities such as wifi so people can stay connected, while relaxing with locally sourced, hand-made meals, it said.

The two-storey restaurant will offer a fast casual dining experience from its build your own wraps, to its salads and desserts.

The Just Falafel’s motto “We Feed the Hungry” goes beyond the food they serve to their guests, with each new store opening contributing to its $1m pledge to the UN World Food Programme.

Fadi Malas, CEO, said: “Our desire to offer reasonably priced, flavourful street food with such an authentic heritage as the falafel makes us very proud as Just falafel is welcomed around the world.”

The chain has planned to open more restaurants locally and globally, with a third outlet to open soon in Parramatta, home to Sydney’s second central business district, after the successful launch of the first outlet earlier this year.

It has also plans to expand in the US and India in the fourth quarter of the year. - TradeArabia News Service
