Bahrain elected to ILO board

Bahrain has received a new global vote of confidence yesterday (June 2) when it was elected International Labour Organisation (ILO) board member for 2014-2017.
The kingdom was elected unanimously by ILO member states during the 103rd session of the International Labour Conference at the Palace of Nations, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry representative Othman Sharif Al Rayes won a seat on the ILO board of directors as part of the businessmen’s team. - TradeArabia News Service
