Saudi govt doctors working in private clinics warned

Saudi Arabian authorities have issued an official notice to private hospitals and medical centres not to recruit doctors and health practitioners working with the government, said a report.
The directives also called on medical authorities to submit a list of government staff working in the private sector for disciplinary action, said the Arab News report.
The new directives also include medical faculty members and employees at Saudi Arabian universities, it said.
The government employees found guilty of working in the private sector are liable to pay a SR100,000 ($26,659) fine or more for repeat offenses, the report added.
