BDF signs deal with Russian export firm

The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has signed an agreement with Russian defence export agency Rosoboronexport.
The deal will help enhance Bahrain's defence capabilities through the provision of an advanced system, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
The agreement demonstrates Bahrain's commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Russia, with a focus on trade, investment and defence co-operation.
The agreement was signed by director of planning, organisation and technology Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah and Rosoboronexport director Anatoly Isaikin.
This agreement comes as part of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to Russia at the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. – TradeArabia News Service
