Bahrain campaign to protect young

Manama, April 27, 2014

The Social Development Ministry, in co-operation with the Education Ministry, has distributed more than 200,000 cards with hotlines, as part of a campaign to protect children and enhance communication with families and pupils from kindergarten to secondary school.

The cards highlight two numbers, the Child Protection Centre hotline 998 and the National Contact Centre’s 80008001, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

They will offer guidance on children’s problems and a team of psychologists will provide solutions to safeguard youngsters’ rights and protect them from abuse and neglect. – TradeArabia News Service
