Raber AG from Switzerland, a major producer of preserves, marmalades and jelly, has expanded into the Gulf region following a partnership deal with Emsons Group.

Dubai-based Emsons will start distributing Raber products from March.

Raber AG is present at the  Gulfood exhibition which opened in Dubai today.

Josef Feusi, owner of Raber, said: "We aim to reach out for broader consumer base in the fast-growing emerging markets.”

The 125-year-old company’s first participation last year at the Gulfood 2013 was a milestone for Raber.

"This year we want to deepen our relationships in the Gulf region. With the help of our importer Emsons  Group, we hope to reach out to new customers in the sales channels retail, food service and bakeries,” he said.

Heinz Umschlag, marketing and export manager will be present at the Gulfood February 24 to February 27 at the Swiss Country Pavilion, Sheikh Saeed Hall S-F9. –TradeArabia News Service
