Stage is set for Bahrain garden show

The 10th Bahrain International Gardens Show (BIGS 2014) will open at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre on February 26.
It will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, with the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of the King, president of the Supreme Council for Women and chairwoman of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The event, organised by the NIAD in collaboration with Tamkeen and the Unido under the theme "Agricultural Technology", will be open to the public from February 27 until March 1.
With more than 130 exhibitors covering a 7,500 sq m area, the show will include a special display on its history and development over the last 10 years.
More than 20 international companies will take part through the Unido stand, while 31 regional and international companies will exhibit independently.
Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Lebanon, Sudan, Yemen, Tunisia, France, Belgium, Spain, Japan and Uganda are among the countries taking part. - TradeArabia News Service
