No pardon for terror convicts: Bahrain

Meanwhile, the Premier has vowed to track down the killers of the policeman in Dair and bring them to justice.

He directed officials to beef up security and confront saboteurs and terrorists who are intent on subverting Bahrain's security and stability.

"Killing innocent people, disrupting people's interests, destroying properties and perpetrating acts of violence and terror have never been a civilised way of expression," he said.

The Premier was speaking as he offered condolences to the family of martyr of duty Abdulwaheed Sayyed Mohammed, who was killed in a terror explosion.

He urged all citizens to unite to confront terror and foil subversive designs targeting the country.

"It is incumbent on us all today to stand united and face terror and violence," he said.

The Premier vowed to exert all efforts to protect Bahrain.

"What is happening will only make us stronger and more committed than ever to national pillars and unity.

He paid tribute to the security forces for their dedication in defending the nation, saying that their sacrifices will remain engraved in Bahrainis' memory.
