MTI Consulting completes Palestine project

Manama, February 8, 2014

Bahrain-based MTI Consulting said its associates in Palestine have successfully completed the USAID/DAI project that was awarded to the company last July.

The project entailed an economic feasibility study for the Sludge and the Stone Industry in Palestine, said the company.

MTI executed this project in association with Expoworks plus, an associate of MTI in Palestine and IMM Carrara, an Italian firm well recognized in the international stone industry.

The collaboration with these organizations was pivotal to the success of the study as it was important to have a pulse in Palestine as well as the technical expertise in the industry, stated the Bahrain-based firm.

Meanwhile, MTI Consulting has appointed MCT Agency as an associate in Turkmenistan.

"In 2011, Turkmenistan’s economy was among the fastest growing economies in the world - GDP grew by 14.7 per cent, driven by increasing hydrocarbon production and surging public infrastructure spending," said MTI Consulting CEO Hilmy Cader.

The strong external balance was sustained by the increased gas exports to China as well as growing exports of oil. Turkmenistan deepened relations with South Asia, in particular, India and Pakistan by carrying out joint work on a large energy project.

MTI Consulting said it has worked on assignments across emerging markets in Asian, Middle East and African regions.

These include projects carried for multi-national and regional companies and agencies in Algeria, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordon, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines and Syria, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
