Iran must stop meddling in GCC affairs, says Saudi
Manama, December 9, 2013
Iran should stop its constant interference in Bahrain's internal affairs if it wants to regain the region's trust, said a top Saudi official.
This was highlighted by King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies board chairman Prince Turki Al Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, during the fifth plenary session of the ninth Manama Dialogue yesterday (December 8), said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
"Bahrain is exposed to the interference by Iran with regard to its internal and security affairs, which has been met with suspicion," said Prince Turki.
"Iran is deeply involved in Arab affairs - whether it is Bahrain or Palestine.
"I would like to tell my brothers in Iran, who have a big smile on their faces now that they have to be serious and show their real intention, by withdrawing from their interests in the region," stated Prince Turki. - TradeArabia News Service
