IPSA International, an investigative consulting and risk advisory firm, has appointed Gerald R Cummings to the position of senior consultant as the firm takes steps to get established in the Middle East.

Cummings brings over forty years of international experience in intelligence gathering and investigations in both the public and private sectors having worked in Canada, the UK, Cyprus, the Middle East and the Gulf States, a statement said.

Cummings spent 17 years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police before moving to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service where he finished his career in London as the head of the Service's liaison office.

Cummings was responsible for conducting worldwide threat, risk and vulnerability assessments for the company's assets, premises and personnel as well as leading the company's anti-counterfeiting initiatives.

"I have known Gerry since the early 1990's when we were both working at the Canadian High Commission in London.
