Hansgrohe wins Saudi financial district deal

Riyadh, April 8, 2013

Hansgrohe SE, the luxury bathroom fittings specialist, has been selected to equip Saudi Arabia’s first financial district with a wide range of products from its Hansgrohe and Axor designer ranges.

The 1.6 million sq m King Abdullah Financial District is set to become the leading financial centre in Riyadh that will house a large community of professionals working within the financial sector and related industries, spread across three million sq m of floor space.

Products such as Hansgrohe Crometta, Raindance hand showers in addition to Axor Citterio and Axor Starck designer ranges have been selected for several parcels of the King Abdullah Financial District project.

Central to the design of the development are the environmental requirements, which include the use of distinctive copper and stainless steel materials to protect the interior work environment from intense solar gain.

Bolstering the project’s environmental credentials, all the products selected incorporate Hansgrohe’s pioneering EcoSmart technology. This uses sophisticated flow limitation, special spray jets and the mixing of water with air to reduce water consumption and save energy, while still providing the same comfort.

Dirk Schilmoeller, sales director Middle East, Hansgrohe SE, commented: “The King Abdullah Financial District project is a state of the art centre of excellence which will have world class office space and housing. Such a development requires the highest in design quality and engineering.

“This latest project adds to a long line of prestigious contract wins in the Middle East region and we are proud to be supplying both Hansgrohe and Axor product ranges to enhance the purity of design that the development boasts.”

Situated close to Riyadh’s business centre, the project is a fully integrated development including offices, hotels, conference centres, shops and recreational facilities with easy access to the airport and road system. – TradeArabia News Service
