DQG launches 10th Emirates Women Award

Dubai Quality Group (DQG), a non-profit organisation that advances learning, promotes quality improvement and business excellence practices, has launched the 10th cycle of the Emirates Women Award (EWA).
Organised under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, chairman of Dubai Airports, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman & CEO of Emirates Airlines, the award honours and celebrates women who have excelled in their respective fields. It also aims to inspire and encourage the future generation of women leaders to achieve their true potential and advance their status in the society, a statement from DQG said.
The award workshops will be held from February to April, and the deadline for nominations is April 15. The judges’ assessment phase will be from April 16 to May 19 and the final decision by the supreme jury will be made in the third week of May, following which the winners will be announced.
This year, the awards will feature overall winners in the categories of business owner and professional as well as five criteria winners in the categories of overall best performer - leadership criterion; overall best performer - strategic and financial planning criterion; overall best performer - career achievements criterion; overall best performer - community contributions criterion; and overall best performer - innovation criterion.
