Bahrain’s government has agreed to a constitutional amendment allowing GCC nationals of Bahraini origin to become members of parliament or Shura Council.

Parliament’s legal and legislative committee head MP Ahmed Al Mulla announced this during a meeting on constitutional amendments in the presence of Justice Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej reported. – TradeArabia News Service
