DHL will organise an event for its major clients marking Bahrain's National Day on December 22 at the Gulf Hotel’s Gulf Convention Centre.

"DHL has a long and prosperous history in Bahrain, we have been here for 35 years and the kingdom is one of our main hubs across the network," DHL Mena chief executive, Nour Suliman, said.

"Its proximity to Saudi Arabia and other countries, the government's efficiency and understanding of our business, as well as, the support and facilities we get ensures the best customer service and are all factors to making this region a successful one."

The event will be attended by VIP customers from both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, a statement from the company said.
