Hotel offers four restaurant concepts

Doha, November 2, 2011

The Renaissance Doha City Center Hotel has opened four new restaurant concepts - Quick Bites, Cucina, Crossroads Kitchen and Champions Sports Bar & Restaurant, which offer innovative beverage and food experiences.

With its unique Beverage and Food offering, the hotel is set to cater to the different tastes and preferences of guests. Once fully operational, the hotel will also offer world-class culinary options including seven restaurants, two bars, a Saray Spa and a Vitality Zone health club, as part of its West End entertainment zone, a statement from the hotel said.

Robert Catlin, director of beverage and food at the hotel, said: “We are excited to bring four new restaurant concepts to the modern city of Doha. Each concept is unique in its own way and we are confident that our guests will be thrilled with the signature outlets which offer them a wide array of culinary options. These new restaurants are part of our mandate to offer nothing but the best to our guests.”

Located on the ground floor, Quick Bites is an all day internet café designed to satisfy any guests’ appetite as it offers a wide selection of gourmet delights, as well as “grab-and-go” items.

The restaurant carries freshly-baked breads and home-made ice-cream and pastries as well as pizzas fresh from the oven, crisp salads, sandwiches and burgers along with sweet treats, cakes, Arabian pastry delicacies and a full barista coffee range for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Cucina, located on the second floor, offers a unique rustic Italian kitchen with its warm atmosphere and cozy interior design. Divided in six sections including a smoking zone, family section and a private dining room, it can accommodate up to 200 guests. Specialised in its signature dishes such as homemade pastas, pizzas, tiramisu and antipasti, the restaurant offers an extensive list of fine beverages, the statement said.

Crossroads Kitchen is an all-day dining buffet style restaurant serving African and Middle Eastern food as well as Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian dishes. Located on the third floor, the restaurant has a capacity of 130 guests and is designed as an indigenous concept with a modern twist as it offers the experience of live cooking.

Dining areas are designed away from the large Asian, Middle Eastern and African buffet and the centrally located Island buffets to ensure privacy for every guest, it said.

For sports lovers, Champions Sports Bar & Restaurant provides over 40 flat screen TVs playing live and recorded sports. Located on the second floor near the hotel’s connection to Doha’s City Center Mall, the sports bar and restaurant is open every evening of the week.

It serves a variety of light and heavy meals along with exotic cocktails and ice-cold beverages. With a seating capacity of 210 guests or 300 standing, Champions Sports Bar & Restaurant is an ideal place for celebrations and parties. Exclusive corporate or private events can be held in the private party rooms with comfortable seating, flat screen TVs and sports video games, the statement said.

“The distinct character of each outlet will ensure that visitors find what they are looking for all in one place called the ‘West End’,” concluded Catlin. “We expect a notable growth in the number of visitors as we gear up for opening more restaurants in the near future.” – TradeArabia News Service
