Dubai Judicial Institute unveils e-portal
Dubai, October 26, 2011
Dubai Judicial Institute (DJI) has launched its official e-portal to serve as a reference for the legal and judicial community in Dubai and the UAE.
DJI is the leading centre of law studies and judicial training in Dubai and member of the General Network of Government Communication.
The portal aims to reinforce the image of DJI as a regional hub for legal and judicial excellence and create better understanding of the importance of the legal system in the society, said a DJI statement.
The launch was held as one of the highlights of DJI’s participation (as part of Dubai eGovernment’s stand) at the recent Gitex expo in the presence of Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Commenting on the project, Judge Dr Jamal Al Sumaiti, DJI director general, said: "The e-portal initiative is critically important as it serves as a tool to expand our reach across the region and eventually gain international presence."
"Moreover, it is particularly invaluable as we aim to enhance the role of knowledge management in the development of intellectual capital and finding ways to further drive creativity," he remarked.
"We were keen to adopt innovative mechanisms to develop the site’s content in line with the highest quality standards, while achieving our goals in terms of thoroughness, credibility, efficiency and simplicity," said Dr Al Sumaiti.
"We also look forward to continue to develop and update the e-portal to serve our plans of cultivating a culture of justice, making positive changes in the local community and reinforcing the position of Dubai and the UAE as a center of legal and judicial excellence," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
