Edible Arrangements opens in Muscat
Muscat, September 25, 2011
Edible Arrangements, a leader in hand-sculpted, fresh-fruit arrangements, said it has opened its new outlet at Muscat City Centre mall for business.
Announcing the launch, AlShaima Ali AlRaisi, owner and managing director of Edible Arrangements Muscat, said: "We have been planning our opening for many months, and now we are able to offer our exquisite fresh fruit arrangements to customers in Muscat and beyond."
"The mall is an ideal location, and is a truly fitting destination for the launch of this global brand here in Oman," she remarked.
To celebrate its Muscat opening, the company will be donating gross profits from its first week of trading in Oman to famine relief in Somalia, in co-operation with the Oman Charitable Organization.
“Edible Arrangements is all about giving – that’s why we thought it was important to start our business with a gesture that reflects the generosity of our customers," said AlRaisi.
"We also wanted to show our support for and contribute to the valuable work of the Oman Charitable Organization in Somalia in a time of such great need," she added.
Recognised for its innovative approach to creating beautiful, delicious and nutritious products, Edible Arrangements’ exquisite arrangements are made from the freshest fruit possible, including strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, pineapple, bananas and apple wedges - added sweeteners and preservatives are never used.
Each bouquet can be complemented with chocolate dipped fruit as well as a choice of delicious toppings such as crushed pistachio, almonds and coconut, said AlRaisi.
The Muscat City Centre store also features Edible Arrangements’ Edible To Go, an all-natural fruit station for customers who want a fresh and delicious treat ‘on the go’.
The menu boasts wholesome treats such as smoothies, fresh juices, fruit salads, fruit sundaes, and dipped fruit, she added.
The outlet, located on the first floor, East Wing of Muscta City Centre, will be open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm Saturday to Thursday and 2 to 10pm on Fridays.
An official grand opening celebration is planned for the Muscat City Centre Store next month, said AlRaisi.-TradeArabia News Service
