Polytechnic students visit Unisono
Manama, July 13, 2011
Unisono, a leading independent full service agency in Bahrain, recently organised an open day for visual design students from Bahrain Polytechnic.
The open day programme gave the students the opportunity to learn more about the creative industry and to interact with various departments including creative, strategic, client servicing, media, digital and PR.
The students were given an interesting educational presentation about creativity and strategic branding by Unisono CEO Amy Morgan and senior members from each department.
The event was the inaugural session of Unisono’s corporate social responsibility program aimed at inspiring young talented students to join the creative industry by increasing their understanding and awareness.
Morgan said: “We are delighted to welcome the Polytechnic students and have the opportunity to empower them with knowledge. Unisono’s vision is ‘to positively transform’ and this really applies to the creative industry here in Bahrain. We want to see more talented Bahrainis pursuing careers in this industry and attract greater support and respect from parents and educational establishments, as well as government and industry.
Head of Visual Design at the Bahrain Polytechnic, Victoria Campbell, speaking about the open day, said: “These trips help students get a first hand introduction into various industries. I really appreciate the effort put in by the Unisono team to help students understand this creative industry.” –TradeArabia News Service
