UAE ministry holds open meeting for staff

UAE’s Ministry of Economy recently held an open meeting for its employees aimed at promoting transparency and driving a culture of dialogue between the staff members.
The meeting highlighted the open door policy followed by the Ministry to further enhance the service and operational excellence of the team members, and contribute to the performance of the national economy.
Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori directed employees to strengthen their knowledge base and to foster a culture of innovation and creativity to strengthen competitiveness and achieve excellence in all sectors.
He said this is important to deal professionally with global challenges, and stressed the importance of building the knowledge in transforming challenges into positive opportunities.
He highlighted the importance of teamwork to achieve the best results and asserted his confidence in the Ministry’s staff.
"It is necessary for us to acquire new insights and perceptions of fit with the requirements of the next stage of evolution within the framework of strategic plan of the Ministry," he added.
Al Mansoori urged the staff to make maximum efforts to complete the tasks accurately and quickly in line with the rapid developments in the national economy.
He also called for the staff to adopt a culture of excellence and focus on methodologies for strategic planning and continuous improvement of performance. He underlined the importance of implementing the Ministry's plans and strategies to raise their efficiency.
The Ministry of Economy had recently launched an internal communication programme whereby the staff can communicate and send suggestions and complaints to a special e-mail of the Minister. – TradeArabia News Service
