Arab heritage encyclopaedia launched

An encyclopaedia documenting over 60 heritage sites across the Arab World, including the Bahrain Fort, was launched in Paris on Friday.
Bahrain Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa attended the event held at the Unesco headquarters.
World Heritage in Arab Countries spotlights heritage sites in 16 Arab countries, including the Bahrain Fort, which is on the Unesco’s list of world heritage sites.
The Culture Ministry published the book in co-operation with the Unesco and the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, and sponsorship of Bahrain Bay project.-TradeArabia News Service
