Ban 'won't affect Bahrain vegetable supplies'

Bahrain's ban on imports of fresh vegetables from Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark will not affect local markets, the Industry and Commerce Ministry has said.
The ban was put in place due to fears from the E. coli bacteria which has killed 18 people in Europe. Similar bans are in place in the UAE, Qatar and Lebanon.-TradeArabia News Service
