German firm launches handheld digital radio

Dreieich, May 19, 2011

Germany-based Imtradex, a specialist in hear and speak solutions, has launched a handheld digital microphone which overcomes disadvantages associated with analog radio especially for emergency and security services.

The basic equipment of Aurelis-hand microphones includes a transmit button, microphone, high-quality speakers, an emergency call button, three-level volume control and a programmable LED.

“They also have a connection for external audio equipment and a fixation for pull relief (for audio accessories),” said Ralf Kudernak, managing director of Imtradex.

All hand microphones Aurelis series feature a rugged plastic housing. It is water resistant and devices are protected from dust and from temperature influences, so that they can be used reliably in a temperature range of -30 to +70 degrees Celsius.

In addition to the traditional communication, depending on model, it offers a flexible platform for versatile data applications and provides a new dimension of professional communications.

"For example, the model AudioDis can receive information on a small LCD display" explained Ralf Kudernak.

The Aurelis AudioDat and AudioDis also have programmable key digits to handle further applications, by pressing a certain key.

The 180-gram hand microphone from the Aurelis series is available in different colours and equipped with either cloth clip or car holder clip. The mounting kit for vehicles is to fix on any dashboard easily, a statement said.

The basic version of the new Aurelis lends itself to many customisation levels to meet the various needs of customers, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
