Kohler, a global leader in kitchen and bath design and technology, has announced the Middle East launch of its advanced new Numi toilet with bidet functionality.

The Numi made its international debut last month. Boasting unrivalled standards of excellence and performance, high levels of personal technology and forward-looking design, the WaterSense and CALGreen-certified “smart toilet” is truly the ultimate flushing experience, a company statement said.

The company’s newest bathroom product features a sleek, interactive LCD touch-screen interface; built-in personalised bidet functionality and deodoriser; innovative dual-flush technology with 1.9 and 4.8 litres per flush; intuitive auto-open and -close lid; built-in music system; heated seat and foot warmer.

Following Kohler’s successful 2005 launch of the Purist Hatbox toilet, whose tank-less silhouette redefined the bathroom category, Numi breaks the mould with its entirely new visual and technical language. Its design reflects a furniture aesthetic, creating an original toilet profile, it added.

“Numi packs technology into a compact toilet and is controlled by an advanced and intuitive interface. It’s an astounding example of modern industrial design where form and function go hand in hand,” stated Mohamed Nada, regional marketing manager at Kohler Co.
