Gulf ministers to discuss crisis
Manama, March 6, 2011
The foreign ministers from the Gulf region will meet in the UAE on Monday to discuss regional developments, particularly the situation in Bahrain and Oman.
Bahraini and Omani foreign ministers will brief their GCC counterparts on latest developments in their countries, Saudi sources said.
The GCC ministers will back Bahrain’s dialogue initiative and Oman’s plan to provide 50,000 new civil service jobs, stressing the need to join hands and avert unrest in the region, the source added.
