UAE’s premier experience gift company Dreamdays has launched ‘Dinner in the sky’, an unparalleled dining experience floating 50 metres above the ground.

‘Dinner in the Sky’ is hosted at a table suspended at a height of 50 metres above Dubai Marina Walk, the city’s bustling entertainment destination.

Guests are strapped into custom designed seats and hoisted into the air by a 100 tonne crane. 22 people can be accommodated around the table at every session with three staff in the middle - chef, waiter or entertainer.

Once in the air, the table is free to rotate 180 degrees while the guests are pampered with a sumptuous spread of the best cuisine and enjoy the breathtaking view.

“Dinner in the Sky is a unique event meant for anyone who wants to transform an ordinary meal or meeting into a magical moment that will leave a lasting impression on their guests. It can be personalised according to the client’s wishes- breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails or business meeting - your imagination is the limit,” said Farshid Rahimkhani, managing director, Dreamdays.

This concept has been used in many an interesting way – “Marriage in the sky”, “Meeting in the sky”, “Concert in the sky”, among others. The table was built according to the German TUV certification norms, regarded as one of the toughest safety certifications worldwide.
 
This dining experience is open till May 23, at Dubai Marina Walk, after which it returns in the winter.
