MEFranchising to back IEC expo

London, February 5, 2011

MEFranchising, a leading franchise consultant, has entered into a strategic partnership with International Expo-Consults (IEC), the organisers of an upcoming major franchising exhibition in Dubai.

MEFranchising will take part of the Franchising Middle East (FME) Exhibition 2011, the region’s leading trade event for the franchise sector, set to be held in Dubai from March 14 to 16 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The company will help raise international awareness and secure the presence of industry executives from international franchises, many of whom will be assigned to speak during the event’s seminars.

“We are proud to announce our participation in the Franchising Middle East Exhibition,” said Mohammed Alnassar, managing director of MEFranchising. “The event is a unique networking opportunity showcasing franchise brands to an audience from across the whole Middle East.”

Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, chairman of IEC, said: “We are delighted to have MEFranchising working so closely with us on the promotion of Franchising Middle East.”

“The franchise sector has seen phenomenal growth in the Middle East, pointing to its growing popularity as a business model. Both local and international brands are expanding heavily and we predict this to continue as the region starts to emerge from the global economic downturn,” he added.

FME connects entrepreneurs with potential franchise buyers from the UAE, GCC countries, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries, African continent, India, Russia and CIS countries, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
