Dubai, January 25, 2011
Jacky’s Gulf will unveil HP’s newest technologies in the large-format printing sector highlighting the next generation of latex and flatbed applications at the ongoing Sign and Graphic Imaging (SGI) Middle East in Dubai.
The 14th annual SGI, a specialised event dedicated to the Middle East’s signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries, is ending tomorrow (January 26) at Dubai Airport Expo.
Aimed primarily to large format graphics professionals and enthusiasts, Jacky’s and HP will highlight trends in graphics, POP and outdoor advertising market through a series of presentations during the exhibition.
“Sign and Graphic Imaging Exhibition is the largest and the longest show in the region dedicated to the printing industries and this is the best venue to keep our customers informed about HP’s latest technologies and environment friendly products and how these will increase productivity and highest level of output quality,” said Ashish Panjabi, chief operating officer, Jacky’s Gulf.
“At our stand with HP, customers and visitors can discover new market opportunities in wall coverings, soft signage and other applications using Latex-ink printers. There will also be few techniques to cut turnaround times when producing in-store graphics and demonstrating a cost reduction for producing POP materials using HP UV-ink based flatbed printers,” Panjabi added.
In addition, Jacky’s is also displaying HP’s most environmentally friendly large-format printers in the market. Among the products on display are water-based latex printers such as the 3.2-metre HP Scitex LX800, 2.5 metre HP Designjet L65500, and 1.5-metre HP Designjet L25500. Other printers include the 1.5-metre HP Scitex FB500 UV flatbed printer and 1.5 metre HP Designjet Z6200 indoor printer.
These latex printers can print up to 1200 x 1200 DPI and are perfect for printing point of purchase, soft signage, wall coverings and vehicle graphics among others. These make printing of outdoor and indoor applications more versatile through the six-colour printing system with HP Latex Inks.
The FB flatbed series provides an advantage for better creativity to conventional outdoor advertising by combining prints done directly on woods, glass, ceramic tiles or aluminium to conventional outdoor flex or self-adhesive vinyl prints. – TradeArabia News Service
