Riyadh, October 23, 2010
The five-star Al Faisaliah Hotel, a Rosewood Hotel in Riyadh, has opened an Italian restaurant as its sixth dining option.
La Cucina, the first restaurant to open in the new south wing extension of the hotel, features a menu offering salads, soups, thin-crust pizzas baked in a traditional beach wood pizza oven, and homemade pastas with gourmet sauces.
Main dishes range from sautéed tiger prawns to grilled beef tenderloin, marinated duck breast and slow cooked veal shank created under the direction of Chef Maurizio, a statement said.
“La Cucina adds another dimension to the dining options at Al Faisaliah Hotel, offering relaxed but uncompromisingly stylish surroundings and the freshest world-inspired Italian cuisine,” said Peter Finamore, managing director of Al Faisaliah Hotel.
“Whether it’s a light lunchtime snack or a large family celebration dinner, La Cucina will delight with its fresh Mediterranean menu and personalised service for which Al Faisaliah Hotel is renowned,” he added.
Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, La Cucina’s setting includes a dedicated family section for women and families requiring privacy. – TradeArabia News Service
