Dubai Outlet Mall is gearing up to create the world’s longest sandwich spanning 2,500 metres.

The attempt to beat the current Guinness World Record of 2,000 meters will take more than half a tonne of cheese and more than 525 kilos of tomatoes and cucumbers amongst other ingredients.

More than 100 employees of one of the world’s largest food companies will join forces on October 7 to create the sandwich trail comprising 10,000 individually prepared sandwiches.

In collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent, the sandwiches will later be packed into boxes alongside other food items and delivered to labour camps. – TradeArabia News Service
