The United Arab Emirates' President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahayan has returned home after recovering abroad from an undisclosed illness

Last month, state news agency Wam reported that Sheikh Khalifa, who was born in 1948, had received medical treatment in Switzerland for an undisclosed condition and that he was to return to the UAE after a period of convalescence.   

"President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahayan returned home safely this morning after recovery from illness," Wam reported. - Reuters
