Globalization Partners expands Dubai office

Dubai, June 29, 2010

Globalization Partners International (GPI), a leading provider of website, software and documentation translation services in over 100 languages, has announced plans to expand its services in Dubai.

GPI said there has been a tremendous growth in the demand for several strategic languages in the Middle East and Africa region.

The Dubai expansion plan will help support GPI's document, software and website translation practice across the MEA region, said a senior official.

'GPI opened in Dubai in 2009 and has steadily grown its translation, desktop publishing and website localization capabilities and clientele throughout the Mena region,' remarked Martin Spethman, GPI managing partner.

'Many of GPI's US, European and Mena-based clients require translation services to support their expansion into and from the emerging markets of the Middle East and Africa,' he noted.

GPI has added language copy writers, desktop publishers, global SEO specialists and website localisation specialists to its staff in support of these needs.

According to him, the GPI's client list included interactive agencies, energy companies, healthcare providers, hotels, consumer product companies, software publishers and engineering firms.

'Translations into Arabic, English, Farsi, French, Greek, Hebrew, Kurdish, Persian, and Turkish are in-demand languages for companies expanding into Mena, while translations into Arabic, Chinese, English, German, Japanese, Farsi, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish are often requested for Mena-based companies expanding globally,' explained Nathalie Hodgson, GPI's global client services manager based in Dubai.

'We have been helping clients with a wide range of language and technology needs from complex content management system implementation in order to handle multi-language websites and workflows, to simple translation and desktop publishing of architectural plans, e-learning materials and marketing collateral,' she added.-TradeArabia News Service
