Bahrain TV going digital

Bahrain is to switch to digital terrestrial television broadcasting (DTTV or DTT) by December 2011.
The plan was approved yesterday by the Cabinet chaired by HRH the Premier.
The Culture and Information Ministry submitted a proposed four-phase scheme to introduce DTTV technology and was instructed by the Cabinet to allocate the necessary budget.-TradeArabia News Service
