Al-Baddad inks Taif Festival contract

Al-Baddad International, a leading provider of innovative mobile halls and pre-fabricated buildings, has signed an annual contract with Al-Mustaqbal, Saudi-based exhibitions and event management company, to jointly organise exhibitions in the Kingdom.
As per the agreement, both parties will co-operate in prepping Al Taif Festival for the seventh year in a row, said a statement from UAE-based Al Baddad, a unit of Al Baddad Global group of companies.
Prince Khalid bin Mansour bin Jalawi Al Saud, chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mustaqbal and Zayed Al-Baddad, chief executive officer and chairman of Al-Baddad International signed the agreement.
Through its branch in Jeddah, Al-Baddad International will rent and secure mobile halls for Al-Mustaqbal, which adds to the experience, strong database, and statistical analyses on the Saudi market, said a senior official.
Al-Baddad will extend its support to Al-Mustaqbal team of professionals in setting up mobile halls to serve their local and foreign clients and empower them to penetrate the Saudi and Middle East markets, Zayed Al-Baddad noted.
Al-Baddad plays an integral role prepping Taif Festival Village Project, which is organized by Al-Mustaqbal, by installing the biggest shopping mobile hall in the Middle East. It will also provide mixed-use halls that are used as theatres, restaurants, out-door activities.
Halls for circus, skiing activities, and concerts along with theme parks add to the success of the event by attracting a group of Arab artists and participating bands, he said.
Al-Baddad will provide mobile halls covering areas of 12,000 sq m that are built as per global standards of security and safety and can withstand harsh weather conditions such as high-speed winds and strong rain showers, he pointed out.-TradeArabia News Service
