Sadolin offers new colouring software
Muscat, April 4, 2010
Sadolin Paints Oman recently showcased its latest colouring software - Colouriser - at the Interiros and Buildex exhibition in Muscat.
Colouriser is a novel painting software that enables the user to upload photographs of his or her own home and digitally ‘dress the home up’ with different colours. This gives them an idea of how these colours would actually look when put on the walls of their own home, said a senior executive.
N Balachandran, deputy general manager, said: “The highlight of our stand was the showcasing of an easy-to-use colouring software. This software allows customers to choose colour combinations for their homes and see on the LCD display how the colours actually look like when put on the wall. The colouring software was a hit with all, and some of our visitors even uploaded photographs of their homes from their mobiles to see how different colours would look on the walls of their own home."
Sadolin also showcased its environment friendly and low odour range of products at the show.
“In order to emphasise low odour and environment friendliness of Sadolin’s Interior Emulsions Paints, a live demonstration of our range of paints was given at the stall this year. Visitors could test and see for themselves that our internal emulsions have nearly no odour at all,” he said.
Sadolin's modern manufacturing plant has a capacity to produce 15 million litres per year and has the largest network of dealers in Oman. It also has a subsidiary manufacturing unit in Kochi in India.
Sadolin Paints manufactures the entire range of decorative coatings and furniture lacquers under a technical licensing agreement with Akzo Nobel, the number 1 paint company in the world. - TradeArabia News Service
