Dubai, March 17, 2010
MH Alshaya Company has opened its first Pottery Barn home furnishings retail store in the Middle East at Mirdif City Centre in Dubai.
The 2,800 sqm store is located on the ground floor of the mall.
“Pottery Barn is a well-loved and much respected brand in its home market and we know that consumers here in the Middle East will be very pleased with its unique collections, trend setting designs and customer-focused approach,” said Mohammed Alshaya, executive chairman of MH Alshaya Co.
“We are very excited to provide our Dubai customers with the same retail shopping experience that our customers have in the USA, and think they will be happy with what the store has to offer in the way of merchandise and service,” added Laura Alber, president, Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
There are destinations within the store dedicated to living rooms, outdoor spaces, dining rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as feature walls that will display lighting, rugs and window treatments. Focused displays on dinnerware, frames and candles will also be featured throughout the retail floor.
At the centre of the store is the Design Studio, a destination for customers to sit and discuss their furniture needs and plan their space with specially trained associates. The Design Studio houses fabric, wood and leather swatches so customers can see all the choices available to them.
Furniture collection cards are also available to customers free of charge. These cards represent each Pottery Barn furniture collection and include product information such as measurements and all available finishes for the specific collection.-TradeArabia News Service
